AutoScaling in TOSCA
This is an example of how to create AutoScale policies with the yaml descriptor. The
auto_scaling_policy section has to be placed inside the
properties section of the Virtual Network Function node when the yaml file specifies an NSD. Alternatively, if you want to upload a VNFPackage and the yaml file describes only one VNF the
auto_scaling_policy has to be part of the
inputs section of the yaml file. The following example shows the former case.
... topology_template: node_templates: example-vnf: type: openbaton.type.VNF properties: # Other properties omitted for brevity auto_scale_policy: scale-out: # Policy name threshold: 100 comparisonOperator: ">=" period: 30 cooldown: 60 mode: REACTIVE type: WEIGHTED alarms: alarm1: # Alarm name metric: "system.cpu.load[percpu,avg1]" statistic: "avg" comparisonOperator: ">" threshold: 0.7 weight: 1 actions: action1: # Action name type: SCALE_OUT value: "2" target: "<target>"
